Refund & Cancellation Policy

Important: All refund requests must include your booking reference number. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method unless otherwise specified.
1. Room Reservations
1.1 Standard Bookings
- 7+ days before check-in: Full refund (minus 2% payment processing fee)
- 3-6 days before check-in: 50% refund or full credit for future stay (valid 1 year)
- Within 48 hours: No refund unless room is rebooked (then 80% refund)
1.2 Non-Refundable Rates
- No cash refunds (100% forfeiture)
- Date changes allowed with 72hr notice (₹2000 change fee + rate difference)
1.3 Peak Season (Dec-Jan, Apr-May)
- 14+ days before: 75% refund
- 7-13 days before: 30% refund
- Within 7 days: No refund (full credit voucher issued)
2. Spa & Activity Bookings
- 24+ hours notice: Full refund
- 4-24 hours notice: 50% refund or rescheduling
- No-show: Full charge
- Medical emergencies (with documentation): Full credit voucher
3. Special Packages
3.1 Wedding/Event Packages
- 30+ days before: 80% refund
- 15-29 days before: 50% refund
- Within 14 days: No refund (case-by-case review)
- ₹25,000 non-refundable deposit applies to all event bookings
3.2 Honeymoon Packages
- 14+ days before: Full refund
- 7-13 days before: 50% refund + complimentary rescheduling
- Within 7 days: 30% refund or full credit voucher with spa upgrade
4. Refund Processing
4.1 Timeline
- Request submitted via email to refunds@rccomforts.com
- Confirmation within 24 business hours
- Approval/denial within 3 business days
- Refund processed in 5-10 business days after approval
- Bank processing may take additional 3-5 days
4.2 Methods
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days (Indian accounts only)
- UPI: 24-48 hours (Indian guests only)
5. Special Circumstances
5.1 Force Majeure
For natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemics:
- Full credit voucher (valid 18 months)
- Option to transfer booking to another party
- Cash refunds only if mandated by government order
5.2 Resort-Initiated Cancellations
- Full refund + 15% discount on future booking
- Complimentary room upgrade if available
6. Non-Refundable Items
- Gift certificates/vouchers
- Special request fees (flowers, decorations)
- Third-party service charges (tours, transportation)
